This is a single-family residential development of 100 upscale homes located in West Hempfield Township, Lancaster County. The project is nestled within 54 acres of densely wooded forest, near an existing recreational lake. Catalyst put the land under agreement in 2017 and spent several years getting land use approvals from West Hempfield Township and PA-DEP. Final approvals were granted in 2022, and the approved site was subsequently sold to D.R. Horton who began construction of the development in Spring 2023. As part of the conditional approval from West Hempfield Township, Catalyst was required to move an existing pre-Civil War house approximately 40' back off the edge of neighboring Prospect Road to mitigate a traffic safety hazard. This house move was successfully completed in the fall of 2023.
